Work for 15th May
You are to ensure that;
a) Your production plan is complete (see examples on my previous blog entry)
b) Your risk assessment for the lathe is complete (see examples on my previous blog entry)
c) You have photographed various aspects of your production process (to do this you may set the work up in the lathe but DO NOT turn it on!)
Once this is completed you are to investigate thread rolling. Watch these videos and produce a production plan that explains how else the threaded bar could be made. You need to mention how this process could be applied to making your g-clamp driver bar.
